WHO IS A CHRISTIAN?
As Christians, we are followers of Jesus Christ - and we believe in our hearts that Jesus died on the cross as payment for our sins We believe God loves all people but hates all sin. God wants a personal relationship with all people. Read more: what is "being saved?"

GOD’S SON PAID THE PRICE OF OUR SINS
We are saved by God’s grace. His gift to us was His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus was crucified on a cross, bearing all of our sins for all time. He paid the price for our sins. Jesus shed His blood on the cross, died and rose again on the third day. We are righteous and perfected as forgiven Christians.

Jn 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Mt 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

A BLESSED LIFE

Christ was clear about many aspects of living and how He encouraged us to live our everyday lives.

Mt 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Mt 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Mt 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Mt 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Mt 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Mt 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Mt 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Mt 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Mt 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Mt 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

PRAYER ACCEPTING
GOD'S GIFT

Dear Heavenly Father,
I am a sinner and I need you.
I am sorry for all that I have done
wrong. Please forgive me for being a sinner. I believe that by your grace, Father, that your son, Jesus Christ paid the price for all my sins. I believe that Jesus shed His blood and died for me. I believe He rose again and He washed away my past, present and future sins forever. Come into my heart. Give me the strength to tell other people what I have prayed today, for your glory, God. In Jesus Christ's precious name I pray. Amen!

CHRISTIAN LIFE
Living a Christ-like Life

The world is out of control for both
those who are saved and those who
are not. How we deal with the situation
in the world is determined by our faith
or lack of it. As Christians we are in
the world but not OF the world.

Under the old law given to Moses, in the
Old Testament, we were cursed because
we were sinners. We were not able to
adhere to God-given commandments.
The curse included sickness, poverty
and failure. People made sacrifices to
transfer their sins to an innocent lamb,
who was slaughtered and then they
were free from their sin.

Christ died on the cross and became as
the lamb, sacrificed for our sins past,
present and future. He absorbed all sin,
sickness, failure and poverty. He died and rose again. He sits on the right hand of God. All we need do, is repent and accept God's gift of salvation.

Now when we are truly saved, the Holy Spirit lives within us! We know we are truly reconciled to God and are righteous, because Christ died on the cross, bearing our past, present and future sins. We are perfect before God and we
are to live lives that bring glory to God. When we live in the manner that Christ showed us, we bring glory to God, and with the help of the Holy Spirit we can really, actually, do that. Sure, we will make mistakes but we are able to go on, knowing we are forgiven. We don't let our sin give us a guilt feeling nor do we re-live the old mistakes. We won't be perfect in all we do, but we are "perfected" before our Father in heaven. We are totally free! That is why Jesus said "it is finished."

We are free to serve, free to grow faith and in the knowledge of God, free to share the gospel and free to live our lives in the manner of Christ.

Ro 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies
a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Ro 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Ro 12:5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members
one of another.
Ro 12:6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
Ro 12:7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
Ro 12:8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that showeth mercy, with cheerfulness.
Ro 12:9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
Ro 12:10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
Ro 12:11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
Ro 12:12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
Ro 12:13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
Ro 12:14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
Ro 12:15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
Ro 12:16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to
men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
Ro 12:17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the
sight of all men.
Ro 12:18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
Ro 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
Ro 12:20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him
drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
Ro 12:21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Mt 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
Mt 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Mt 5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Mt 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify
your Father which is in heaven.

Ro 10:13 For whosoever shall call
upon the name of the Lord
shall be saved.

1Co 11:23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
1Co 11:24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
1Co 11:25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

Isa 49:6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

Ac 13:47 For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.

Phil 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Phil 2:14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
Phil 2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
Phil 2:16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

Jn 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Ex 14:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will show to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
Ex 14:14 The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
